A day in the life

As our new developer, you’ll start the day with a short catch-up with the team. Today, the release of the latest platform app is scheduled. A comment the CEO yesterday, made you think of a cool update. This means some quick but careful changes in the code. But not to worry, you’ve got this. Once you’re done, the new app can go live. Just in time for this week’s demo too. After finishing the lunch our Bistro freshly made for you, several teams of developers come together to show off their latest accomplishments. The new release of your team is presented as well. The applause from your peers is yet another sign of a job well done!

You will be

• Participating and contributing to requirements, specifications, architectures, designs and technology stack for products, subsystems, and components.
• Participating and contributing to planning, estimation, story elaboration, product/design/code reviews, test plans, retrospectives, and release activities.

You MUST be

• Able to work remotely (US based)
• Degree qualified in computer science or related technology subject.
• Have 4+ years of experience working in agile team developing highly available, highly scalable, secure applications on AWS or Azure utilizing both IAAS and PAAS.

You have initiative and excellent problem solving skills. You can research solutions and implement them quickly and robustly. You will have ample opportunity to influence the technical direction of the project and contribute to the entire life cycle. You have at least two years commercial experience in C#. However, prior financial services experience is not required and we welcome applicants from any industry. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
